Ten Variations on the Dutch St. Nicolas tune ‘Zie ginds komt de stoomboot’ in the style of ‘Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman’ by Mozart for piano. Written in 1976 als piece of work for the subject counterpoint during my studies at the Utrecht Conservatory.
Dedicated to Niek de Vente.
