For pianist, improviser and composer Guus Janssen, new music and entertainment are naturally intertwined. The electric organ, with its built-in dance rhythms such as the tango and foxtrot, provides excellent material for an intriguing dialogue with the orchestra. Giel Vleggaar, who also has an ear for light music, has composed an overture to the dance. In a video, biologist Midas Dekkers offers his commentary on the phenomenon of dancing.
