Biography

Pianist/composer Robert Nasveld (*1955 Utrecht) studied at the Utrecht Conservatory. As a pianist he specialized in the repertoire of the twentieth century. He became particularly known for his interpretations of the piano music of George Crumb. Many of his compositions have been published by Attacca. From 1988 to 2021, Robert Nasveld worked for NTR on National Classical Radio where he was programme editor for contemporary music. The emphasis was on his programming for the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Radio Choir, as part of NTR’s collaboration with the Holland Festival.
